What is a silent band?
A Silent Band combines the atmosphere of a live band with silent disco technology. Instead of the music being played through traditional PA speakers, your guests listen through wireless headphones. You’ll still hear the band’s live vocals and instruments acoustically, but without the high volume of amplified speakers, creating a unique experience that’s perfect for noise-sensitive venues.
What events can I hire your Silent Band for?
Our Silent Band is perfect for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, festivals, university events, charity events, private parties, venues with noise restrictions and outdoor celebrations. If you’re looking for entertainment that’s different and unforgettable, a Silent Band is a fantastic choice.
Do guests have to wear headphones?
Yes. The full Silent Band experience is enjoyed through our wireless headphones. Guests can simply remove their headphones whenever they want to chat before putting them back on to rejoin the music.
Can guests adjust the volume?
Absolutely. Every pair of headphones has its own volume control, allowing each guest to listen at a level that’s comfortable for them.
Can you still have speeches and announcements?
Yes. We can pause the music whenever needed for speeches, presentations or announcements, making the Silent Band ideal for events with a running schedule.
Is the Silent Band suitable for venues with noise restrictions?
Yes. Because the music is delivered through wireless headphones rather than loud PA speakers, a Silent Band is a great option for venues with sound limits, outdoor locations and events where reducing noise is important. While you’ll still hear the natural sound of the band’s voices and instruments, the overall volume is significantly lower than a traditional live band.
